Nice animation

There was a small detail that bothered me though (and the reason I bothered to write a review) is when you listed the "sites to visit"; they were not click-able links.

It's a little bit of an inconvenience to type in the addresses myself, so my guess is it may disenfranchise people from visiting. If you don't care whether people actually go to those sites of yours or not, then I'm bothered that you included that moment of "sites to visit" section without any good reason for it.

amazing

the art is fantastic!

Criticism: Although you've already been criticized by your teacher and such (if already turned in), but I wanted to draw your attention to to his 'lame' leg. The motion isn't seamlessly looped like the rest. After being drug forward, it *pops* back a notch. Should be an easy fix, other than that, good job.

the animation is short & without clear plot

tips - grenades usually need to have the pin removed to explode. Doing the motion of taking off the pin without actually showing the pin being removed and tossed isn't sufficient. Your explosion did indeed suck, and the only thing I can offer for advice towards improving is you should remember explosions tend to cause a quick burst of light (quickly fade to white screen and back is an option) then followed by the already going flames and smoke. Drawing squiggly red and yellow lines is also insufficient. Good luck with further animations. Compared to other "noob"s, you actually have potential.

Necro-Mage responds:

Thanx for some of the help, and about the flash being short without a clear plot. It was just supposed to be a short. But thanx for the compliments and help :)!

ill work on the explosion and the grenade pen flying.

Sooooo

The a and g were suppose to move up and down when I blink right? If not, I failed. Although short and most-likely pointless to me, I enjoyed the way you put the whole thing together (except for that the easter egg was too easy to find.) The afikoman was pretty nifty and made me smile.

JSXSDawg responds:

Yea they move up and down. And I made it easy to find because I actually spent more time working on the Easter Egg than the actual clip.
Thanks for the positive response.

I really enjoyed the video

The whole premise is what made the animation great, then add in the amazing visuals and you have a really great product.

Some things of note:
The narrator's voice sounds a little too nasalized and distracted me on that aspect, but I don't see any reason to take points off for it. I just wanted to point that out. Also, if you were to have a smaller file-size for a movie in flash it would hinder the quality (it'll look like youtube stuff.) You're best bet would be to have the quality you have now, and if you want to have it smaller for people with slower modems, you could try to work with flash's flv player. (sorry i can't offer an explanation on how to do it)

Hmmmm

Robot Chicken actually didn't come to mind... although This is What You Want by Tomorrows-Nobody did.

Even if I hadn't seen and loved Tomorrows-Nobody's animation before this one, I still would have to call this sub-par. The transition-noise was too loud compared to voices and other sounds. Most jokes failed to be timed right and were not easily understood as they should be, and you could probably benefit from a spell-checker.

Emanhattan responds:

Im mexican so I have some issues with english pronunciation n stuff. my accent is not accurate.

and yeah a lot of folks complained about that damn noisy sound

French?

Song is written in Romanian, which doesn't really sound anything like French to me... But yeah, the animation and humor from this is fairly good. I enjoyed it even though I was reluctant to see a numa numa based video or animation anytime soon. You're fat guy was probably the funniest of it all :-D

The animation and style deserves much praise

I hope you submit many more animations that look as great as this! The water, the animating, and everything was beautiful. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to see this. I guess if I had to give criticism (which I didn't have to but I am) it would be that you probably could've developed this at least a little further past link falling off the cliff. I didn't take that into account with my score, I just want more damn it! hehe

The message

Is a jumble of many things that really didn't stick. I just enjoyed the animation and the cute music. Freelens did well with this. Props!

Ahhhh! Aussies have takin' over the USA!

Are you trying to say that Australians will lay claim to the oval office and then bicker over the climate change? If you are, then awesome, and if you're not, awesome as well. The Polar Bear scene was cute, and even though the howling fade seemed expected and lack luster, it was still overall a well made project.

Rectified son of a monkey bullet.
